It has been said for a while and now this latest comprehensive study published in Science and discussed in The Guardian on the subject once again confirm what everyone has been saying for a while.

A vegan diet is probably the single biggest way to reduce your impact on planet Earth, not just greenhouse gases, but global acidification, eutrophication, land use and water use"

It is unwise and an inefficient use of resources to encourage people to change to a low flow shower head and more energy efficient light bulb when the elephant in the room is what we eat. Furthermore, while change that might rival going vegan do exist it can sometime feel we have very little control as they are in the hands of government and private corporations. Going vegan is the one thing everyone can do today without having to wait for new laws and regulations from government, new advance in technology, or change from corporations. This does not even take into account all the other non environmental benefit like saving countless animals from death, torture, cruelty, fighting antibiotic resistance, reducing the incidence of obesity, reducing the incidence of cancer and overall better health.

Why wait for government or corporations to act? Go vegan today. Contact us for help in your change of lifestyle and link we with one of the many local communities in your area.
